The multinational company has also relied on Da Bruno to make available its machinery and a team of professionals to make this reform introducing LED technology. In fact, Philips has across Spain only chosen Da Bruno and two hotels as examples of management and savings in energy consumption, after performing the renovation work with LED technology at their facilities.
The Dutch multinational has implemented these changes in Da Bruno Sul Mare, the groups flagship restaurant located on the promenade of Marbella. The technicians have replaced old light dichroic bulbs of 50W dining area, with capacity for 400 diners, for masterLED 8W and 6W. They have also installed LuxSpaceLED MarterLED tube and downlights in the kitchen and office areas, thus saving 87% in energy consumption and reducing the emission of CO2 into the atmosphere by a similar percentage.
At the same time they have virtually eliminated maintenance costs since the lamps have 40,000 hours of useful life. All this, of course, at the same time maintaining the cozy, familiar and friendly atmosphere that Bruno and Giuseppina Filippone are always looking for in their restaurants.
