What about the mothers? They are the queens of our tables. They taught us how to sit properly, how to use a fork and knife, and how not to pinch the little sister sitting on our side or how not to throw bread crumbs across the table. They also forced us to finish our portion when we did not want to eat and made us be quiet when adults were talking.
But to say the truth we have found many ways to forget the embarrassment and it is what truly remains, just a tender and respectful memory of those moments.
